So my guessing is that since November this nasty virus has mutated and infected a lot of computers. Unfortunately, there's not a single cure that works for all cases of infection. Sometimes even good rated antimalware can't beat the beast. Basically the best solution is to combine several tools & programs, or still better - keep them ready just to stay on the safe side. It's reported that Virtumonde blocks certain domains of antimalware manufacturers (noticeably, Malwarebyte's).
